Company details (legal entity, registered office and registration numbers) will be published here. Until then, contact legal@bitpolaris.com.

BitPolaris provides software and related services. It does not provide exchange, custody, payment or investment services to end users, and does not hold client or end-user funds. Operators licensing the software are responsible for their own regulatory authorisations.

Licence terms — summary

Grant. Cloud: a subscription to use the software as a hosted service under your brand. Self-hosted: a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to run the software on infrastructure you control, for one legal entity and the environments named in the order. Source: as self-hosted, plus the right to modify and build.

Restrictions. No sublicensing or resale of the software itself. No removal of security controls (2FA, audit log, reserve monitor). Source licensees may not publish the code.

Fees. As in the order form. One-time items: 50% at signature, 50% at go-live. Cloud: monthly in advance. Updates & support for self-hosted: 20% of licence per year, optional after year one. Prices exclude VAT.

Your obligations. Hold the authorisations your activity requires; operate KYC/AML and sanctions controls; keep keys and credentials secure; apply security updates we classify as critical within 14 days.

Ours. Deliver the software as scoped; provide updates and support under the SLA while in force; keep your data confidential; give 12 months’ notice before ending support for a major version.

Liability. Capped at fees paid in the preceding 12 months, except for wilful misconduct, gross negligence and breach of confidentiality. We are not liable for losses arising from your users’ trading, your custody policy decisions, or third-party services.

Term & exit. Cloud: 12 months, then monthly; 90 days’ notice; full data export in open formats on exit. Self-hosted and source: perpetual; support is annual. Cloud setup fees are credited against a later self-hosted or source licence for the same products.

Law. Governing law and venue are set out in the signed licence agreement.

Support & SLA

Response targets, measured from ticket creation in the client portal or a call to the P1 line. Resolution targets are agreed per incident class in the agreement.

Class Response
P1 · outage, funds at risk 15 min · 24/7
P2 · degraded 1 h · 24/7
P3 · request 1 business day
P4 · question 3 business days

Cloud availability target: 99.9% monthly, excluding approved maintenance windows. Service credits: 10% of the monthly fee per full 0.1% below target, capped at 50%. Self-hosted availability depends on your infrastructure; the SLA covers our response, not your uptime.
